I don’t know about you, but I find dieting exhausting. I don’t have self-control which makes dieting even more difficult. If I attempt to do so, I can last for maybe a day, and then find myself binging on whatever it is that I gave up. I’m sorry, but I just cannot live without cheese. Eating meh foods just to lose weight never works, which is why it is called crash dieting (aka crash and burn dieting). It is impossible to be successful this way, long term, as I have discovered.

I looked for recipes constantly when I was starting to lose weight. Searching for anything that is actually healthy and low in calories. The internet is lacking in this department. There are recipes for all of the different areas of the diet spectrum. But what about recipes that you can eat to lose weight and also enjoy when you are maintaining?

So here is where this blog comes in.

I will be recreating some of the dishes that I loved to eat when I weighed 300 pounds, and still do to this day. Changing them up so that they are just as craveable, but much healthier, and guilt free.
